3.0 Magnitude Earthquake Recorded Near Jangsu County

Jangsu - A 3.0 magnitude earthquake was reported near the southwestern county of Jangsu early Saturday morning, according to firefighting authorities. The earthquake struck approximately 17 kilometers north of Jangsu and 216 kilometers south of Seoul at 4:34 a.m. The quake's coordinates were recorded at a latitude of 38.5 degrees north and a longitude of 127.53 degrees east, with a depth of 6 kilometers.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Firefighting officials stated that there have been no reports of damage or unusual situations arising from the earthquake. However, authorities did receive 16 reports from residents who experienced slight shaking or believed they felt an earthquake.
