Seoul: Aespa's second full-length album, "Lemonade," has achieved impressive sales, surpassing 1.03 million copies sold as of Thursday, as announced by the group's agency, SM Entertainment, referencing local sales figures. The album represents the K-pop girl group's eighth venture into million-seller territory, as reported by data from Circle Chart.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Aespa's second album made a notable entry into the U.S. Billboard's main albums chart, securing the No. 9 position earlier this month. Additionally, it claimed the top spot in the United World Charts, a platform for tracking album sales worldwide, managed by Media Traffic.
Since their debut in 2020, Aespa has gained recognition for their distinctive multiverse storyline. Their second album delves into a multiverse known as "Complaexity," exploring themes related to cracks within a parallel universe.
The group is set to embark on their world tour, "SYNK : COMPLaeXITY," beginning in August in Seoul. The tour will then proceed to North America, South America, and Europe, showcasing their global appeal.
