Azerbaijan and Republic of Korea to conduct joint research in int’l trade

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 5. Azerbaijan and Republic of Korea will conduct joint research in the sphere of international trade, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications of Azerbaijan Vusal Gasimli said, Trend reports with reference to the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications.

Commercial relations were discussed during a meeting between the Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications of Azerbaijan Vusal Gasimli and Ambassador of Republic of Korea to Azerbaijan Lee Eun Yong.

At the meeting, Gasimli spoke about the economic reforms carried out in Azerbaijan, the application of strategic management, the development strategies being implemented, also the monitoring and evaluation carried out by the Center in the sphere of economic reforms, research and innovative projects.

Ambassador Lee Eun Yong expressed satisfaction with the level of relations between two countries.

Success of joint projects between the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications and the Embassy, expressing confidence in the continuation of cooperation, he noted.

The potential of the South Caucasus region in terms of international trade and transportation will increase with the opening of the Zangazur corridor and joint research in this area with analytical centers in Republic of Korea will serve the interests of both countries, Gasimli emphasized.

The increase in trade between Azerbaijan and Republic of Korea, the expansion of cooperation in trade and investment will make a positive contribution to the economic development of the countries. An agreement was reached to establish links between the Center and the relevant analytical centers of Republic of Korea to conduct joint research in these areas.
