BNK Financial Group’s Net Profit Falls 18.6% in 2023

SEOUL—BNK Financial Group Inc. reported a decline in its net profit for the year 2023, posting 669.4 billion won ($503 million), which is an 18.6 percent decrease from the previous year. The company also recorded a decrease in its operating profit, which fell 30.9 percent to 801.2 billion won.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Despite these declines, the company's annual revenue increased by 27.8 percent, amounting to 9.66 trillion won.

The financial results indicate a challenging year for BNK Financial Group, reflecting a decrease in profitability despite an increase in overall revenue.
