BTS’ RM Set to Release New Solo Track Ahead of Second Album

SEOUL - RM, the leader of global K-pop phenomenon BTS, is scheduled to release a prerelease track from his forthcoming solo album "Right Place, Wrong Person" in early May, according to BigHit Music. This track, set to debut with a music video on May 10 at 1 p.m. Korean time, precedes the album's official release by two weeks.

According to Yonhap News Agency, this release marks RM's first musical outing since his solo album "Indigo," which launched in December 2022. The full album, scheduled for release on May 24, will be followed by additional music videos and live performance videos of RM, set to be released on May 28, and May 30-31, with another on June 10. The agency highlighted that the album encapsulates the essence of RM as an artist and will delve into themes of alienation, featuring 11 tracks all falling within the alternative genre and boasting rich sounds.

Despite his current military service with the South Korean Army, RM managed to film music videos for nearly half of the album's tracks prior to his enlistment in December. He also contributed as a lyricist for all the tracks on the album, showcasing his involvement in the creative process.
