Flights Resume in Jeju Following Snowstorm Disruption
Jeju - Flights to and from South Korea's Jeju Island normalized on Saturday following disruptions caused by a strong snowstorm, according to airport authorities. The Korea Airports Corp stated that a total of 254 departure flights and 256 arrival flights were scheduled at Jeju International Airport on Saturday.
According to Yonhap News Agency, The snowstorm, part of a nationwide cold wave, had caused the cancellation of over 280 flights and delays to 26 others, with three planes forced to turn back. Jeju experienced significant snowfall, with Mount Halla recording a cumulative snowfall of 59.6 cm.
