Seoul: Several major cities in South Korea are bracing for heavy rainfall on Monday, with some areas experiencing up to an 80% chance of rain.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Seoul, Incheon, Chuncheon, and Gangneung are among the cities forecasted to have significant rainfall, with temperatures expected to range between 15°C and 19°C.
The weather forecast indicates that Suwon and Cheongju will also see a substantial amount of rain, albeit with a slightly lower probability of 60% to 70%. Temperatures in these cities are expected to be in the low 20s. Meanwhile, Daejeon and Daegu are also projected to experience rain, with a 60% chance of precipitation.
In contrast, Gwangju and Busan are expected to have sunny conditions despite a 60% chance of rain, suggesting potential for brief showers. Jeonju is forecasted to experience rain with temperatures peaking at 25°C. Jeju will see cloudy skies with a lower possibility of rain at 30%, accompanied by temperatures ranging from 23°C to 29°C.
