SEOUL — In a striking development, Kangwon Land Inc. announced a 746.1 percent increase in its fourth-quarter net profit, reaching 78 billion won ($58.7 million). The company's regulatory filing revealed that operating profit for the quarter stood at 42.1 billion won, more than doubling from 18.4 billion won in the previous year. However, revenue saw a slight decrease of 2.8 percent, totaling 325.3 billion won.
