Kia Unveils Upgraded EV6 Electric Vehicle with Enhanced Features

Seoul - Kia Corp., the second-largest automaker in South Korea, has announced the launch of its redesigned EV6 electric vehicle, initially introduced in 2021.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the latest iteration of the crossover SUV boasts a new design under the "Modern Contrast" philosophy and includes significant technological upgrades such as a fourth-generation 84 kWh battery and an advanced infotainment system based on Hyundai Motor Group's software defined vehicle (SDV) technology. The vehicle also features enhanced aesthetics like the Star Map lighting on its front and rear lamps and redesigned wing-shaped bumpers.

Internally, the revamped EV6 offers a larger panoramic curved display and ambient lighting with dynamic graphics, enhancing the user experience. The updated battery increases the car’s range to 494 kilometers on a single charge, an improvement over the previous model’s 475 kilometers. Kia has started accepting preorders for the new EV6, with its official release scheduled for next month.
