Korea Interbank Offered Rates Remain Stable Across Most Terms

Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) have shown stability in most terms as reported at 11:00 a.m. by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency. The rates for various terms largely remained unchanged from the previous session.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week and 6-month KORIBOR rates held steady at 2.50% and 2.84%, respectively, while the 12-month rate also remained unchanged at 2.97%. There were slight declines in the 1-month, 2-month, and 3-month terms, with the rates decreasing from 2.61% to 2.60%, 2.71% to 2.70%, and 2.81% to 2.80%, respectively.

These rates reflect the prevailing conditions in the interbank lending market in Korea and are used as a benchmark for various financial instruments. The stability observed in the KORIBOR rates indicates a consistent lending environment in the short to medium term.
