Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) experienced slight adjustments in the 3-month and 12-month terms, as reported by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m. today.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 3-month KORIBOR saw an increase from 2.77% in the previous session to 2.78% today. Meanwhile, the 12-month rate rose from 3.18% to 3.19%. The rates for the 1-week, 1-month, 2-month, and 6-month terms remained unchanged at 2.50%, 2.60%, 2.68%, and 2.86%, respectively.
These interbank rates are crucial as they serve as a benchmark for various financial products and services within the Korean financial market. The slight increase in the 3-month and 12-month rates could have implications for lending and borrowing conditions in the near future.
