KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Movements; Samsung Biologics Rises by 38,000 Points

SEOUL - The KOSPI 200 Index in South Korea exhibited mixed results, with several stocks showing notable gains and others experiencing drops,

According to a new release by Yonhap News Agency, Samsung Biologics registered one of the most significant upticks, with its closing price at 738,000, an increase of 38,000 points. Krafton also showed positive momentum, closing at 163,600, up by 8,100 points.

Youngone Corp experienced a decline, closing at 51,300, down by 1,600 points. Kolmar Korea also saw a drop, with its closing price at 51,700, a decrease of 1,000 points.

Among financial groups, Meritz Financial closed at 48,800, up by 900 points, while BNK Financial Group showed a downward trend, closing at 6,960, down by 90 points. Woori Financial Group closed at 12,280, down by 10 points.

In the technology sector, SK ie technology showed positive movement, closing at 66,000, up by 2,200 points. KakaoBank remained static, closing at 20,950 points.

The retail sector also saw fluctuations. Emart closed at 72,700, up by 1,800 points, while BGF Retail closed at 131,400, up by 500 points.

The healthcare sector had its shares of ups and downs as well. HanmiPharm closed at 275,000, up by 1,000 points, while HDC-OP closed at 10,620, down by 10 points.
