SEOUL, South Korea's bourse operator said Monday it will hold an investor relations (IR) session this week to attract more investors to the country's tech-laden stock market.

The 2018 KOSDAQ Premier Conference, set to take place Tuesday in Seoul, will bring together some 32 firms listed or to be listed on the second-tier KOSDAQ market, according to the Korea Exchange (KRX).

During the event, the companies will have direct chances to promote their firms to potential investors, with the participants to be able to have consulting services regarding their investment, the KRX noted.

The conference has been held on an annual basis since 2012 as the country's largest-scale IR session of the KOSDAQ-listed firms.
