Lee and Modi Commit to Elevating South Korea-India Bilateral Relations

Evian-les-bains: South Korean President Lee Jae Myung announced that he and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi have agreed to elevate the bilateral ties between their countries to a new level. This agreement was reached during their recent discussion on the sidelines of the Group of Seven (G7) summit in France.

According to Yonhap News Agency, President Lee shared on his X account that the two leaders have committed to strengthening cooperation across various sectors, including the economy, culture, and society. Lee emphasized the importance of building a new relationship between South Korea and India, noting that the current level of cooperation does not reflect the economic size and potential of the two nations.

Both President Lee and Prime Minister Modi are attending the G7 summit in Evian-les-Bains as leaders of invited countries. In a post on his X account, Prime Minister Modi expressed that he had an excellent conversation with President Lee, highlighting ongoing collaboration in trade, commerce, and other futuristic sectors. This mutual agreement signifies a commitment to advancing their partnership and exploring new opportunities for cooperation.
