MIKATI MEETS MINISTERS HAMIEH, MAWLAWI, KHOURY, RECEIVES DIPLOMATS

Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, on Wednesday received at the Grand Serail, Minister of Public Works and Transport, Ali Hamieh, and discussed with him issues related to the work of his ministry.

On emerging, Minister Hamieh said: “I visited Premier Mikati today to brief him on various matters related to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, and on my meetings held outside Lebanon in Cameroon and France which focused on the main objective, namely to prepare the legal grounds of the ports specialized in petroleum activities and ship maintenance on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea.”

Separately, Premier Mikati held a meeting with Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Judge Bassam Mawlawi, and then met Minister of Justice Henry Khoury.

The Prime Minister also met respectively the Hungarian Ambassador to Lebanon, Ferenc Csillag, and Korea’s Ambassador Park Il.

Among Premier Mikati’s itinerant visitors for today had been the Director General of the Ministry of Economy, Mohammed Abu Haidar, and the Board Chairman of the Investment Development Authority of Lebanon (IDAL), Mazen Sweid.
