Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange "30" index closed at 7,291.91 points on Tuesday, marking an increase of 115.1 points, or 1.6 percent, compared to the last trading session which stood at 7,176.76 points. The trading value was recorded at 79,498,743 Omani rials, reflecting a rise of 44.9 percent from the previous session's value of 54,850,766 Omani rials.
According to Yemen News Agency, the daily report from the Muscat Stock Exchange indicated that the market capitalization saw an increase of 0.665 percent from the last trading day, reaching approximately 36.02 billion Omani rials. The report also provided insights into the activity of non-Omani investors, highlighting that their purchase value on the exchange amounted to 18,302,000 Omani rials, which constituted 23.02 percent of the trading value. Meanwhile, the sales by non-Omanis were valued at 11,411,000 Omani rials, representing 14.35 percent. Consequently, the net non-Omani investment increased by 6,891,000 Omani rials, or 8.67 percent.
