Seoul: Nvidia Corp. Chief Executive Officer Jensen Huang announced that the U.S. chip giant will partner with South Korea's LG Group to develop humanoid robots and next-generation data centers. The collaboration aims to integrate advanced motor technology and mechanical systems to advance the field of humanoid robotics and the future of robotic applications.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Huang revealed the partnership details following a meeting with LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo at the company's headquarters in western Seoul. The collaboration will also extend to the architecture of future data centers, focusing on areas such as cooling systems, power delivery, and overall facility design. Huang emphasized the commitment to building these future data centers collaboratively.
Koo echoed Huang's sentiments, indicating that the discussions covered various potential areas for cooperation to expedite the artificial intelligence era. He expressed optimism about the need for increased collaboration with Nvidia to further the advancements in AI technology.
The announcement comes as part of Huang's visit to South Korea, where he has engaged with leaders of major conglomerates and researchers to seek broader cooperation opportunities in the domains of AI and robotics.
