SEOUL, Nov. 22 (Yonhap) -- South Korea denounced a recent suicide bombing in Kabul, Afghanistan, and sent a message of condolences to victims and their families Thursday.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed its position that such a terrorist attack is an inhumane, criminal act that can never be justified in any case and should be eradicated at all costs.
The government said it remains supportive of the international community's efforts for the stability and reconstruction of Afghanistan, it added.
More than 50 people were killed and around 80 others were wounded in the explosion that occurred during a religious anniversary event in the Afghan capital Tuesday.
