S. Korean Bond Yields Experience Mixed Changes on October 31, 2023

SEOUL: The bond yields in South Korea underwent mixed changes during the trading session on October 31, 2023.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-year Treasury Bond (TB) yield slightly dropped by 0.5 basis points to 3.740 percent from its previous session at 3.745 percent. Meanwhile, the yield on the 2-year TB increased by 0.6 basis points to 4.001 percent from 3.995 percent in the previous session.

The yield on the 3-year TB decreased by 0.4 basis points to 4.085 percent from 4.089 percent, and the 10-year TB yield increased by 1.3 basis points to 4.325 percent from 4.312 percent. For the 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond (MSB), the yield slightly dropped by 0.4 basis points to 4.002 percent from 4.006 percent. The 3-year Corporate Bond (AA-) yield increased marginally by 0.3 basis points to 4.908 percent from 4.905 percent. Lastly, the yield for the 91-day Certificate of Deposit (CD) remained unchanged at 3.820 percent.
