SEOUL – South Korean actor Seo Kang-joon has been selected for the lead role in MBC’s upcoming drama “Undercover High School,” where he will portray a National Intelligence Service agent posing as a high school student.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the new Fri-Sat series revolves around Seo’s character who goes undercover to retrieve a lost gold bar from the era of Emperor Gojong. This marks Seo’s return to television following his mandatory military service and his last role in Disney+’s “Grid” in 2022. The series is scheduled to premiere next year.
