Signal Failure Disrupts Seoul’s Subway Line No. 3 During Morning Commute

SEOUL — Operations on Seoul’s subway Line No. 3 were disrupted due to a signal failure on Tuesday morning, causing delays during the busy rush-hour period.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the signal failure occurred at 6:55 a.m. at Yaksu Station, leading to delays for northbound trains and resulting in crowded stations as passengers sought alternative transportation options. Southbound trains were not impacted by the disruption. Seoul Metro is currently investigating the exact cause of the signal failure.
