SEOUL — SK Networks Co. announced on Tuesday a significant decrease in its net profit for the year 2023, with figures dropping 94 percent to 5.5 billion won (approximately US$4.1 million).
According to Yonhap News Agency, while its operating income saw a 33.6 percent increase on-year to 237.3 billion won, annual revenue experienced a decline of 3.1 percent, settling at 9.13 trillion won. This marked downturn in net income highlights the challenges faced by the company over the past year, even as it managed to increase its operating income.
