Sleet and Rain Forecasted Across Major South Korean Cities

SEOUL: South Korea's major cities are expected to experience varying weather conditions on Saturday, according to the latest forecasts. The weather update, issued at 9:01 a.m., predicts a mix of sleet and rain in several cities, with temperatures ranging from chilly to moderate.

According to Yonhap News Agency, In Seoul, the temperature is forecasted to range between 4 degrees Celsius (high) and 0 degrees (low), with a 70% chance of sleet. Incheon and Suwon are also expected to experience sleet with similar temperature ranges and probabilities. Cheongju will see a high of 5 degrees and a low of 0 degrees with a 60% chance of sleet, while Daejeon is set for rain with the same temperature range.

Chuncheon, facing colder conditions, has a forecast of 1 degree high and -3 degrees low with an 80% chance of sleet. Gangneung, on the other hand, will enjoy sunny weather with temperatures ranging from 7 to 3 degrees and a 70% chance of sunshine. Jeonju and Gwangju are both set for rain with highs of 8 and 9 degrees, respectively, and no drop below freezing.

Jeju Island will be relatively warmer with sunny conditions, a high of 16 degrees, and a low of 7 degrees. Daegu and Busan are both expected to be sunny, with Daegu having a high of 9 degrees and a low of -2 degrees, and Busan experiencing a warmer range between 11 and 4 degrees.
