SEOUL – Following the success of their debut song, “Get a Guitar,” Riize, a new boy group from SM Entertainment, is set to release their follow-up digital single, “Talk Saxy,” this Friday.
According to a new release by Yonhap News Agency, the title of the song “Talk Saxy” is derived from the word “saxy,” which refers to an attractive saxophone player. The upcoming tune will feature distinct saxophone and 808 drum sounds from its onset.
In the song, Riize discusses feelings of attraction toward a stranger, both honestly and confidently. “The saxophone sound in the song is compelling. The moment we saw the dance sketch for the first time, we were eager to perform it. This will be our most confident performance to date,” the group conveyed through their agency.
Comprised of seven members—Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Seunghan, Sohee, and Anton—the group made their debut last month with “Get a Guitar.” The song was an immediate success, with sales surpassing one million copies.
