South Korea Condemns Deadly Bomb Attack in Iran

SEOUL: The South Korean foreign ministry issued a strong condemnation of the recent bomb explosions in Kerman, Iran, which occurred during a memorial ceremony for a former Iranian general. The ministry expressed deep regret over the deaths and injuries resulting from the attack.

According to spokesperson Lim Soo-suk, the government extended its sympathies and condolences to the victims’ families and wished a swift recovery for the injured. The statement reaffirmed South Korea’s stance that terrorist attacks are inexcusable under any circumstances. The explosions in Kerman, which marked the anniversary of Qasem Soleimani’s assassination, resulted in at least 95 fatalities.
