SEOUL — President Yoon Suk Yeol of South Korea is scheduled to begin his summer vacation next Monday, according to an announcement from his office on Friday.

According to Yonhap News Agency, while the exact length and details of President Yoon’s vacation itinerary are not yet determined and remain flexible, there are potential plans for him to visit regional military facilities to meet and encourage servicemen, or to inspect local marketplaces to gauge the state of people’s livelihoods. Earlier in the week, President Yoon encouraged his Cabinet members to fully utilize their vacation days as a measure to boost domestic consumption and stimulate the regional economy.
