Two Workers Killed in Boiler Pipe Explosion at Thermal Power Plant in Suncheon

SUNCHEON, South Korea – Two workers were killed on Sunday in an explosion at a fodder plant located in the southwestern city of Suncheon according to authorities.

According to a new release by Yonhap News Agency, the explosion occurred at 3:19 p.m., claiming the lives of two workers who were engaged in welding jobs at the time.

One of the deceased is a 50-year-old Thai national. The local police and fire departments have opened an investigation to determine the exact cause of the explosion.
