Weather Update: South Korea’s Major Cities Forecast for Saturday

SEOUL – The weather forecast for South Korea's 12 major cities for Saturday has been released, providing a comprehensive overview of expected temperatures, sky conditions, and precipitation probabilities as of 9:01 a.m.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Seoul is expected to experience cloudy skies with temperatures ranging between 4 degrees Celsius as a high and -4 degrees Celsius as a low, with a 10 percent chance of rain. Incheon and Suwon are anticipated to have sunny weather with similar low chances of precipitation and slightly cooler temperatures.

Cheongju and Daejeon are both expected to have sunny to partly cloudy skies, with a slightly higher chance of rain at 20 percent. Cheongju's temperatures will hover around 4 degrees Celsius for the high and -5 degrees Celsius for the low, while Daejeon will see a high of 6 degrees Celsius and a low of -4 degrees Celsius.

Chuncheon is forecasted to enjoy sunny weather with no expected rainfall and temperatures ranging from 4 degrees Celsius during the day to -9 degrees Celsius at night, marking it as one of the coldest forecasts among the cities.

Coastal and southern cities like Gangneung, Jeonju, Gwangju, and Jeju show varying degrees of cloudiness with a 20 to 30 percent chance of rain. Gangneung and Jeju, in particular, will see milder temperatures, with Jeju experiencing the warmest weather, ranging from 9 degrees Celsius as a high to 5 degrees Celsius as a low.

Daegu and Busan are also expected to have cloudy skies with a 20 percent and 10 percent chance of rain, respectively. Busan will have the mildest temperatures among the cities, with a high of 10 degrees Celsius and a low of 0 degrees Celsius.
