3 BTS concerts in Seoul next month to each allow 15K fans

K-pop sensation BTS will perform in Seoul next month in front of a combined 45,000 fans over three concerts.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on Feb. 21 announced details of its approval of pop culture concerts since September last year, saying BTS’ solo concert series “Permission to Dance on Stage – Seoul” can accommodate up to 15,000 attendees per show.

The concerts will be the largest approved since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The concerts are slated for March 10, 12 and 13 at the main stadium of Jamsil Sports Complex in Seoul’s Songpa-gu District.

They will be the boy band’s first concerts in the capital in two years since BTS’ World Tour in October 2019.

The March 10 and 13 concerts will be held offline and online through livestreaming.

The March 12 show will be livestreamed at movie theaters around the world.

Each concert can accommodate up to 15,000 people at the Jamsil stadium, or 22.9% of its 65,599-seat capacity.
