SEOUL - The bond market in South Korea witnessed subtle shifts in yields on the morning of July 1, 2024, according to the latest data. The yields on various treasury and municipal securities showed minor adjustments compared to the previous trading session.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the yield on 1-year Treasury bills remained unchanged at 3.328 percent. In contrast, the 2-year Treasury bills rose slightly by 2.9 basis points to 3.272 percent. The 3-year Treasury bills also saw an increase, rising by 3.4 basis points to 3.216 percent. Notably, the 10-year Treasury bills experienced a more significant rise of 5.6 basis points, bringing the yield to 3.322 percent. The 2-year Municipal Securities Bonds (MSB) increased by 1.8 basis points to 3.270 percent, and the 3-year Corporate Bonds (AA-) increased by 2.9 basis points to 3.687 percent.
These shifts in bond yields are reflective of the ongoing adjustments in the market, indicating a dynamic financial landscape in South Korea.
