Enhypen Shatters Sales Record with Release of “Romance: Untold”

SEOUL - K-pop sensation Enhypen has outdone itself by setting a new record with the release of its second full-length album, "Romance: Untold," selling over 1.88 million copies on its first day.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the album achieved sales of 1,883,143 units on its release day, Friday. This milestone surpasses the group's previous record of 1.87 million copies, set in November last year with their EP "Orange Blood." The album's strong performance out of the gate suggests it will quickly surpass two million sales, especially considering it had already accumulated 2.2 million preorders.

The 10-track album features the lead single "XO (Only If You Say Yes)," a romantic pop song that highlights a boy's promise of unwavering devotion to his love interest. Notably, the album includes a special multi-language version of the fan song "Highway 1009," exclusively available on the physical release. This addition is likely to further drive album sales, cementing Enhypen's status as a major force in the global music scene.
