South Korea’s Weekend Weather Outlook: Sunny Skies with Varied Rain Chances Across Major Cities

SEOUL — South Korea is set to experience predominantly sunny weather this Saturday across its major cities, although rain probabilities vary significantly, from minimal to moderate in different regions.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Seoul will see a high of 33°C and a low of 24°C with a 10% chance of rain, maintaining mostly sunny conditions. Similar sunny weather with low rain chances is expected in Incheon and Suwon, with temperatures reaching 30°C and 32°C respectively.

However, other cities like Cheongju, Daejeon, Chuncheon, Jeonju, Gwangju, Daegu, and Busan are also forecasted to have sunny weather but with a higher likelihood of rain, ranging from 60% to 80%. Particularly, Gwangju faces the highest rain probability among these, at 80%.

In contrast, Gangneung will enjoy completely dry weather with sunny skies and a temperature high of 29°C. On the southern island of Jeju, the weather takes a turn with rain expected and a 70% chance of precipitation, accompanying cooler temperatures at 28°C.

Residents and visitors in the affected areas with higher rain probabilities are advised to prepare for potential intermittent showers despite the sunny forecasts, while those in regions like Seoul and Incheon can expect a mostly dry and warm day.
