SEOUL - TWICE, the renowned K-pop ensemble, is set to perform at the halftime of Tottenham Hotspur’s forthcoming exhibition football match in Seoul, announced by Coupang Play, the event's South Korean organizer. The performance will occur during the July 31 game between Tottenham and Team K League at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Coupang Play highlighted that the match is part of the 2024 Coupang Play Series, an annual event that invites European football clubs for preseason games in South Korea. This year marks Tottenham’s second visit to South Korea in three years, with South Korean football star Son Heung-min leading the Spurs. Additionally, Spurs are scheduled to play against Bayern Munich on August 3, also in Seoul, with the halftime show for that match still to be announced. TWICE has achieved significant success globally, with multiple albums reaching the top 10 of the Billboard 200, and their music videos consistently garnering vast viewership, affirming their global appeal and influence in the music industry.
