PYONGYANG — In a historic move, Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov visited North Korea, marking the first such visit since the establishment of formal cooperation between the two nations' prosecutorial offices in 2010.
According to Yonhap News Agency, upon his arrival in Pyongyang, he was welcomed by officials from the Supreme Prosecutor's Office of North Korea. This visit comes on the heels of increasing diplomatic and economic interactions between the two countries, following Russian President Vladimir Putin's recent summit in Pyongyang with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. During his stay, Krasnov is scheduled to meet with his North Korean counterpart to discuss further bilateral cooperation across various sectors.
