SEOUL - Hybe, the renowned K-pop industry leader known for managing groups such as BTS and NewJeans, announced the appointment of its Chief Strategy Officer, Lee Jae-sang, as the new CEO. This strategic leadership change aims to advance the company's global presence and innovative growth initiatives. According to Yonhap News Agency, Lee Jae-sang will replace Park Ji-won, who will continue to serve Hybe by leveraging his experience and network in a new capacity. Lee Jae-sang, with a notable background that includes roles at Hyundai Motor Co. and Google Inc., joined Hybe in 2018. His tenure at Hybe has been marked by significant contributions to mergers, acquisitions, and the company's initial public offering. Hybe also highlighted that Lee's official appointment is pending approval from the shareholders and the board of directors at an upcoming meeting.
