According to Yonhap News Agency, this financial aid is aimed at helping the affected communities in the mountainous village of Gopa recover and return to their daily lives as swiftly as possible. The landslide has reportedly claimed the lives of 257 individuals, underscoring the severe impact on the region and the urgent need for international support.
