Korea Aerospace Industries Reports 28.4% Increase in Q3 Net Income.

Seoul: Korea Aerospace Industries Ltd. on Tuesday reported its third-quarter net profit of 67.9 billion won (US$49.1 million), marking an increase of 28.4 percent from the same period last year. The company released these figures in a regulatory filing, highlighting the financial performance for the July-September period. According to Yonhap News Agency, operating income for Korea Aerospace during the third quarter rose 16.7 percent year-on-year to 76.3 billion won. However, the company's sales experienced a decline, decreasing 9.9 percent to 907.2 billion won. The reported operating profit surpassed expectations, being 12.0 percent higher than the average estimate provided by a survey conducted by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency. It is important to note that an estimate for the net profit was not available in the survey.
