Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index showed mixed results as several major companies experienced both gains and declines in their closing prices. Notably, NCsoft and NAVER were among the top gainers, while LG H and H faced significant losses. According to Yonhap News Agency, NCsoft's stock price rose by 4,000 to close at 218,000, and NAVER witnessed an increase of 5,200, closing at 174,400. Other companies like SAMSUNG SDS and Korea Aerospace also saw substantial gains, with their prices going up by 3,400 and 2,200, respectively. On the other hand, LG H and H saw a steep decline of 20,500, closing at 329,500. SAMSUNG C and T experienced a decrease of 6,300, ending the day at 129,900. Other companies like SK, COWAY, and POSCO DX also faced declines, with their stock prices falling by 2,200, 2,400, and 1,350, respectively. The index also highlighted companies with modest movements. CheilWorldwide and BGF Retail saw slight increases, closing at 18,330 and 114,100, respectively. Meanwhile, HyundaiElev and Kakao remaine d unchanged, maintaining their prices at 46,700 and 37,350, respectively. Overall, the KOSPI 200 index demonstrated a range of movements, reflecting varied performances among different sectors and companies.
