Doosan Swings to Loss in Q3.

Seoul: Doosan Co. on Thursday reported its third-quarter net loss of 94.9 billion won (US$68.7 million), turning from a profit of 104.4 billion won a year earlier. The company disclosed the financial results in a regulatory filing, highlighting a significant downturn in its financial performance for the quarter. According to Yonhap News Agency, Doosan posted an operating profit of 110.2 billion won for the third quarter, a sharp decline from the 319.7 billion won recorded in the same period last year. The company's revenue also saw a decrease, falling by 14.5 percent to 3.87 trillion won. The financial results illustrate the challenges faced by Doosan in maintaining its profitability amid changing market conditions.
