Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) remained unchanged across all terms as reported by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m. today.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the rates for all periods-ranging from one week to one year-were consistent with the previous session's figures. Specifically, the 1-week and 1-month rates both held steady at 2.75% and 2.80%, respectively. Similarly, the 2-month rate remained at 2.83%, and the 3-month rate stayed at 2.87%. Longer terms, including the 6-month and 12-month rates, also showed no variation, standing firm at 2.86% and 2.85%, respectively.
These stable rates suggest a period of equilibrium in the interbank lending market, with no significant changes in borrowing costs for financial institutions. The consistency in KORIBOR rates provides an indication of predictable market conditions, which can be crucial for financial planning and analysis by banks and investors.
