Top Diplomats from South Korea, Japan, and China to Convene for Trilateral Talks in Tokyo

Tokyo: The top diplomats from South Korea, Japan, and China are set to meet in Tokyo later this week to discuss trilateral cooperation and other pertinent issues, as announced by Seoul's foreign ministry on Tuesday.

According to Yonhap News Agency, South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul will engage with Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in a three-way meeting scheduled for Saturday. The foreign ministry's press release outlined that the ministers will evaluate the progress of their trilateral cooperation and exchange views on future developments, regional concerns, and international issues.

Additionally, during the visit, Minister Cho plans to hold separate one-on-one discussions with both Japanese Foreign Minister Iwaya and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang, as stated by the ministry.
