LG OLED evo TVs Claim All of Top 10 U.S. Consumer Rankings

Seoul: LG Electronics Inc. announced on Monday that its new advanced organic light-emitting diode (OLED) evo TVs have secured all top 10 positions in the latest consumer rankings published by U.S. Consumer Report.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the U.S. Consumer Report recently updated its evaluation standards for TV products, focusing on criteria such as credibility, satisfaction, screen resolution, and sound quality. These adjustments have been incorporated into the current rankings.

As a result, ten LG OLED evo TV models each scored over 88 points, dominating the top 10 positions, as stated by a company spokesperson. Notably, LG OLED evo's 55-inch, 65-inch, and 77-inch models received the highest score of 90 points, earning recognition as the best among 400 products evaluated by the U.S. product testing organization.

Three additional LG OLED evo models, along with four OLED models from Samsung Electronics Co., achieved 87 points each, occupying the subsequent seven positions beyond the top 10, the spokesperson added.

The 2025 LG OLED evo features brightness booster technology, which enhances the display algorithm and organic compound structure, delivering images up to three times brighter than traditional OLED TVs. The new TV model's upgraded Alpha 11 processor improves picture quality by analyzing footage with pixel-perfect precision and color correction to align with the creator's vision, complemented by rich spatial sound.

Demand for premium TVs, including OLED varieties, is escalating in North America. According to global market research firm Omdia, nearly 30 percent of all premium TVs priced over US$1,500 sold globally last year were purchased in the North American market.
