KOSPI 200 Sees Varied Movements with Significant Gains and Losses

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a mix of upward and downward trends in the latest trading session, with notable movements in several key stocks. Among the significant decliners was HD Hyundai Electric, which saw a decrease of 14,000, closing at 333,000. Orion also experienced a significant drop, falling by 2,600 to close at 116,300.

According to Yonhap News Agency, several companies experienced gains despite the broader mixed performance. HYOSUNG TNC witnessed a notable increase, climbing 9,000 to reach 240,000. ISUSPECIALTYCHEMICAL also posted substantial gains, up 2,100, closing at 49,100. Additionally, KRAFTON rose by 2,500, ending the session at 338,500.

On the other hand, companies such as Samsung Biologics and Doosan Bobcat faced declines. Samsung Biologics dropped by 2,000 to close at 1,072,000, while Doosan Bobcat fell 1,100 to 49,300. Other notable decliners included HD Hyundai, which decreased by 700 to 74,100, and BGF Retail, which dropped 2,700 to 109,000.

Several stocks saw marginal gains or remained relatively stable. For instance, Hanwha Systems increased by 50, closing at 34,250, and kakaopay edged up 50 to 30,400. Meanwhile, KakaoBank remained unchanged at 23,150. Overall, the session reflected a diverse range of performances across the index.
