Seoul: T'way Air Co., a South Korean budget carrier, has reported a net loss of 124.7 billion won (US$85.1 million) for the third quarter, continuing its trend of financial losses compared to the previous year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing that it faced an operating loss of 95.5 billion won during the July-September period, a substantial increase from the 6 billion won loss recorded in the same period last year. Despite these losses, T'way Air's revenue showed a 13.9 percent increase, reaching 449.8 billion won.
