Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index saw a varied performance today, with several companies experiencing significant declines while others saw modest gains. Among the notable performances, Hyundai Rotem recorded a sharp decline, closing at 175,000, down by 7,800. Meanwhile, L and F also faced a significant drop, ending at 111,500, down by 8,400.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies that experienced notable declines include SamyangFood, which closed at 1,355,000, down by 25,000, and POSCO Holdings, which dropped to 302,500, down by 8,000. In contrast, KIH saw an increase, closing at 156,200, up by 3,100, and SamsungElec ended the day at 96,700, marking a rise of 1,900.
Additional gains were recorded by GS, which closed at 59,600, up by 200, and DB INSURANCE, which ended at 120,400, up by 1,100. Conversely, HyundaiMtr experienced a decline, closing at 257,500, down by 2,000, and SK Innovation ended at 111,300, down by 2,200.
Overall, the KOSPI 200 index reflected a day of mixed results with several companies seeing declines, while a few managed to gain ground amidst the fluctuating market conditions.
