Seoul:The KOSPI 200 index closed with a mix of gains and losses among its listed companies. Notable performers included HYBE, which rose by 11,700 to 176,800, and APR, which increased by 27,500 to reach 325,500.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Samsung Electronics saw a significant rise, adding 5,500 to end at 215,500, while POSCO Holdings increased by 4,500 to 296,500. Conversely, L and F experienced a decline of 11,000, closing at 93,700.
Other significant movements included Hyundai Heavy Industries, which fell by 1,000 to 351,500, and Samsung SDI, which dropped 10,000 to finish at 530,000. Meanwhile, companies such as LS and Hanwha Aerospace reported substantial gains, with LS up by 6,000 to 228,000 and Hanwha Aerospace up by 64,000 to 888,000.
Despite the varied performances, the overall sentiment in the market reflected a dynamic trading session, with several stocks posting notable fluctuations by the end of the trading day.
