Seoul: Kakao Pay Corp., the online payment arm of South Korea's top messenger operator Kakao Corp., on Friday reported its 2025 net income of 55.7 billion won (US$37.9 million), swinging from a loss of 21.5 billion won a year earlier.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company also announced an operating income of 50.4 billion won for the year, a significant improvement from the operating loss of 57.5 billion won recorded in the previous year. Kakao Pay's annual revenue saw a 25.1 percent increase, reaching 958.4 billion won.
