Seoul: Chaevi Co., a major electric vehicle charging infrastructure operator based in South Korea, announced a new partnership with Foreseeson Technology Inc. of Canada to enhance the ultra-fast EV charging network across Canada. The collaboration aims to establish a robust charging infrastructure, beginning with the British Columbia region as the initial hub.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the partnership was formalized through a memorandum of understanding signed on Friday. Chaevi will supply 400-kilowatt ultra-fast chargers and provide technical support, while Foreseeson will manage the site development, installation, ownership, and operation of these chargers throughout Canada. The plan is to supply 100 units in 2026 and increase to more than 200 units annually starting in 2027.
Foreseeson, established in 2001, is a Canadian technology firm that has demonstrated consistent growth, with sales reaching approximately US$38.1 million in 2025. The company has been recognized among the top 100 high-growth companies in British Columbia for six consecutive years. Choi Young-hoon, CEO of Chaevi, expressed optimism about the partnership, highlighting Foreseeson's 25 years of experience in manufacturing and EV infrastructure capabilities in Canada as a critical stepping stone for Chaevi's entry into the North American market.
