KOSPI 200 Stock Market Closing Prices Reflect Mixed Movements

Thursday's closing prices of KOSPI 200 stocks on the Korea Stock Exchange showed varied movements among companies. The day marked notable fluctuations in the shares of several major firms.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Dongwon Industries saw a decline of 450 KRW, closing at 38,450 KRW. GC Biopharma Corp. also experienced a slight dip, closing at 142,200 KRW, down by 100 KRW. LS, however, surged by 19,000 KRW, ending at 374,000 KRW.

Other key movements included Coway, which fell by 1,200 KRW to 79,600 KRW, and Mirae Asset Securities, which decreased by 1,400 KRW to a closing price of 67,700 KRW. SKC experienced a significant drop of 3,300 KRW, closing at 111,600 KRW.

NHIS's shares fell by 650 KRW to 34,950 KRW, while Samsung SDI Co., Ltd. saw a substantial decrease of 29,000 KRW, closing at 630,000 KRW. SL Corp. also declined by 2,600 KRW to 61,400 KRW, and Yuhan's shares decreased by 400 KRW, closing at 94,700 KRW.

& lt;P>Conversely, Samsung Electronics experienced a rise of 7,000 KRW, closing at 224,500 KRW. iM Financial Group's shares increased by 210 KRW, ending at 19,140 KRW. APR saw an uptick of 2,000 KRW, closing at 436,000 KRW.

Other increases in stock prices included Daesang, which rose by 350 KRW to 21,000 KRW, and Orion Holdings, which increased by 950 KRW, closing at 24,950 KRW. DL's shares went up by 2,600 KRW, ending the day at 66,200 KRW.

Among the companies experiencing gains, Doosan's stock rose by 4,000 KRW, ending at 1,442,000 KRW. Miwon Commercial saw an increase of 2,300 KRW, closing at 141,900 KRW, and Shinsegae rose by 2,500 KRW, ending at 384,500 KRW.

Despite the gains, some companies faced declines. Hyundai Motor's shares fell by 9,000 KRW to 532,000 KRW, and Samyang Food experienced a significant drop of 26,000 KRW, closing at 1,344,000 KRW.

Overall, the KOSPI 200's closing prices reflected a mix of both positive and negati ve changes across different sectors, highlighting the varied performance of South Korea's leading companies on the stock exchange.
