Seoul: LG Electronics on Wednesday reported a first-quarter net profit of 1 trillion won (US$680.4 million), marking an increase of 14.8 percent from the previous year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company's operating profit for the January-March period reached 1.67 trillion won, reflecting a significant gain of 32.9 percent compared to the same period last year. Additionally, sales rose by 4.3 percent to 23.72 trillion won.
